The Z6 and Z7 models are so far the best full-frame mirrorless cameras by Nikon. In terms of specs and performance, they are at par, if not better, than Sony’s A7III and Canon’s EOS R.

Screen Protector
Both Z6 and Z7 cameras come with 3.2", 2.1 million-dot touchscreen LCD with tilt capability meaning that you’ll be using the touch screen a lot which leaves it vulnerable to scratches. So, getting the LCD screen protected is probably the first thing you should do.
This screen protector is crystal clear, easy to install, comes pre-cut to the size of your Nikon camera screen, and doesn’t affect the touch sensitivity of the screen.

Batteries

Even though Nikon Z6 and Z7 usually come with two EN-EL15b batteries (depending on the bundle you purchased), I always carry additional battery or two to swap around when I’m shooting outdoors for long hours.

With the Nikon Z6 or Z7 cameras, you get an MH-25 Quick Charger for the EN-EL15 Li-ion battery in the box. While there’s nothing wrong with this charger, it still is quite basic with a single LED light indicator and the option to charge only one battery at a time.

Memory Cards
The Nikon Z6 / Z7 cameras use XQD memory card instead of SD card. While the XQD card has blazing fast read and write speed, it’s less common and more expensive than the SD card.
If you are shooting photos and videos at the highest quality, which you should, I mean why not since you have a camera with such capability, then you should have an extra card or two, as backup.
XQD Card reader
With every Nikon Z6 / Z7 camera you get a Sony QDA-SB1 XQD USB Adapter. This adapter, however, can read XQD cards only.
